Sprouts Farmers Market is coming to Jurupa Valley, signing a 15-year lease at the Jurupa Valley Spectrum shopping center.
The 23,300 square-foot anchor store at 8032 Limonite Ave. is taking some of the space left when the center’s movie theater closed late last year.
Other tenants at the center include Crunch Fitness, Big 5, Starbucks, AT&T, Walgreens. DaVita, Wingstop, T-Mobile and Verizon.
Progressive Real Estate Partners represented the owner, Kite Family LP, in the lease transaction. CBRE represented Sprouts.
Jurupa Valley has seen a host of new stores open in the year. Thanks to the relatively new Shops at Jurupa Valley, residents now have a Target, Little Caesars, Burlington, Ross, Five Below, Mattress Firm, Aldi, In-N-Out, Pollo Campero, Starbucks, Raising Canes, Ono Hawaiian BBQ and Chipotle.
Coming next year, a new grocery store. Vallarta Supermarkets is under construction at a new shopping center at 4751 Van Buren Blvd. The Van Nuys-based chain recently adding locations in Hemet and Colton.
314 homes coming to Riverside County cities
Trumark Homes will build two residential communities in Riverside County, adding a combined 314 homes in Temescal Valley and Corona.
Here’s a look at what each neighborhood will bring:
Solara: 224 single-family detached homes in two Temescal Valley neighborhoods, Radiance and Horizon.
There will be seven floor plans to choose from, ranging in size from 2,679 square feet to 4,049 square feet, with three to five bedrooms, and two-and-a-half to five-and-a-half bathrooms.
Florita: This Corona community also will feature two neighborhoods, Petal and Bloom. Petal will feature 44 townhomes with three floor plans ranging from 1,331 square feet to 1,733 square feet, with two to three bedrooms, and two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half bathrooms.
Bloom will include 46 single-family detached homes with three floor. Sizes will range from 1,246 square feet to 1,717 square feet, with three to four bedrooms, and two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half bathrooms.
No prices have been determined yet for the new housing.
“Securing land in Southern California is increasingly competitive, and we are fortunate to have acquired two prime sites in such a high-demand market,” said Richard Douglass, the Southern California Division president at Trumark.

Work begins on SBVC student building
McCarthy Building Cos. has launched work on the $94 million Student Services Building at San Bernardino Valley College.
The 104,000-square-foot complex is taking shape as the college celebrates its 100th anniversary. The building will feature student equity and counseling offices, health and wellness services, matriculation and enrollment services, tutoring and collaboration spaces, a “genius bar” directional desk, a veteran’s center, offices and conference spaces.
McCarthy said it is collaborating with the college and the broader community “to expand local jobs and student involvement with the project.”
“Approximately 50 percent of project workers will be hired locally,” the company said in a statement, “significantly higher than the average of 20-30 percent.”
The three-story building should be done by spring 2027. Partners include CannonDesign (architect and sustainability consultant); AECOM, (bond program manager); SafeWork (construction manager); CSI Electric and Southland Industries (plumbing/mechanical).
New managing partner at BBK
Charity Schiller has been tapped as the next managing partner at the law firm Best Best & Krieger LLP in Riverside. She succeeds the longtime managing director Eric Garner, effective Nov. 17.
Garner served as managing partner since 2005. He will remain with the firm’s Water Law practice. Schiller is a longtime member of BBK’s Environmental Law & Natural Resources practice and also a member of the firm’s executive committee.
“Eric has been a mentor and role model to so many of us, and I look forward to building on the strong foundation he created,” she said in a statement.
Garner said he was honored to fill the role for 20 years. “We have grown our national footprint, expanded our services, and remained steadfast in our client-first approach,” he said.

Linda Castellano, a longtime Moreno Valley resident, recently launched her own real estate brokerage, One Foundation Realty.
