
A 62-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of killing his romantic partner in a domestic violence incident in her home on Wednesday, Oct. 8, in Chino Hills.
Deputies responded just before 10:30 p.m. to the 4000 block of Village Drive, where they found 44-year-old Jillian Jones dead from a traumatic injury inside her home, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said in a Tuesday statement.
The following day, deputies detained Vincent Ratliff, who was in a romantic relationship with Jones, as he was leaving his home in Victorville, the Sheriff’s Department said.
Investigators believe Ratliff killed Jones in a domestic violence incident, the Sheriff’s Department said. He was booked on suspicion of murder.
