The Inland Empire’s economy, its future and potential challenges will be addressed next week at an annual event.
The Inland Empire Economic Partnership and San Antonio Regional Hospital are presenting the State of the Region on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
Set for 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the event — with the theme of “Five Years Later, Four Years Ahead” — will be at the Ontario Convention Center.
Manfred Keil, the partnership’s chief economist, will give the keynote speech.
Other speakers will include Michael Krouse, president and CEO of Greater Ontario California;John Chapman, president and CEO of San Antonio Regional Hospital in Upland; and Dr. Anthony Hilliard, CEO of Loma Linda University Health.
A panel discussion will feature Robert Kleinhenz, principal economist and founder of Kleinhenz Economics;Fernando Lozano, the Morris B. and Gladys S. Pendleton professor of economics at Pomona College; andKen P. Miller, Rose professor of state and local government/director of the Rose Institute at Claremont McKenna College; and Eleanor Torres, managing director of the Strategic Advocacy Bureau for the Port of Long Beach.
