THURSDAY’S TOP GAMES
BIG WEST CONFERENCE-NORTH DIVISION
Centennial (7-1, 3-0) at Norco (6-2, 1-2), 7:30 p.m.
IE Varsity info: Centennial dominated the second half last week, turning a tie game into 48-20 runaway victory over Murrieta Valley. Jaden Walk-Green and Jordan Kirkpatrick each returned an interception for a touchdown during the second half for the Huskies. Walk-Green has seven picks this season, four of which he has brought back for scores. Dominick Catalano passed for 135 yards and added 36 yards and a score on the ground. Freshman Jaiden Sapp stepped up with Centennial’s depleted running back corps and ran for two touchdowns. Norco will look to shake off last week’s 56-28 loss to Chaparral. Julian Medina passed for 229 yards and a touchdown and added a score on the ground for the Cougars. Blake Wong caught his 17th touchdown pass of the season, and Austin Williams had a pair of short-yardage touchdown runs. Linebacker Henderson Carter V had 1 1/2 sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.

MONTVIEW LEAGUE
Hacienda Heights Wilson (3-5, 1-2) at Ontario (6-2, 3-0), 7 p.m.
IE Varsity info: Ontario looks to set up a possible winner-take-all showdown for the league title against Nogales next week. The Jaguars have won four straight games, including a 28-0 victory at Azusa last week. Andrew Wilson and Samuel Abajuo combined to rush for 213 yards and three touchdowns last week. Wilson, the league’s defending champion, looks to rebound from a 34-14 loss last week at Nogales. Brian Silva is the Wildcats’ top playmaker on offense and has scored a combined nine touchdowns this season.

MOUNTAIN PASS LEAGUE
Elsinore (7-2, 2-1) at Tahquitz (5-3, 1-1), 7:30 p.m.
IE Varsity info: Elsinore will play its final game of the regular season Thursday and take its bye next week. The TIgers are coming off a 31-15 victory against West Valley and can secure a playoff berth with a win over Tahquitz. Lataevious Hernandez ran for 111 yards and two touchdowns last week, and Brady O’Connell added 66 yards and a score on the ground. Tahquitz knocked off Temescal Canyon 35-20 last week to snap a two-game skid. The Titans are led by senior running back / safety Terrell Strong and senior receiver / cornerback Jacob Arbuckle.

SUNKIST LEAGUE
Eisenhower (4-4, 1-0) at Grand Terrace (4-4, 0-1), 7:30 p.m.
IE Varsity info: Eisenhower opened league play last week with a 14-0 victory over Jurupa Hills. The Eagles hope to set up a league title showdown against Summit next week. Treshawn Thurman ran for 93 yards and a touchdown and also caught a touchdown pass from Elijah Necochea last week. Defensive lineman Ayobayo Ibitoye led the defensive effort with 12 tackles, including five for losses. Grand Terrace looks to shake off last week’s 38-0 loss to Summit. Quarterback Jaden Montano leads the Titans’ offense.
