THURSDAY’S TOP GAMES
BASELINE LEAGUE
Chino Hills (5-2, 2-0) at Etiwanda (3-4, 1-1), 7 p.m.
IE Varsity info: Chino Hills cruised to a 49-0 victory over crosstown rival Ayala last week to win the “Battle for the Bone” game for the second consecutive season. Alex Medyn threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns and added 61 yards and two scores on the ground to lead the Huskies. Jacob Jimenez has rushed for 626 yards and six touchdowns to lead the ground attack. Linebacker Noah Curtin is averaging 8.7 tackles per game. Etiwanda led Damien at halftime of last week’s game but ultimately fell 49-31. Keegan Campuzano passed for 182 yards and a touchdown and scored twice on the ground. Brandon Andrade caught six passes for 123 yards and a touchdown for the Eagles. Defensive end Carson Geye leads the defense with 6 1/2 sacks.

CITRUS BELT LEAGUE
Cajon (4-3, 2-0) at Redlands East Valley (5-2, 2-0), 7:30 p.m.
IE Varsity info: The winner of this game takes sole possession of first place in the league standings. Cajon got off to a fast start last week and then held on for a 25-23 victory over defending champion Beaumont. Marcus Washington threw for 154 yards and two touchdowns, while Jordan White led the ground attack for the Cowboys with 94 yards and two scores. Linebacker Taylor Johnson has 147 tackles, tied for second in the nation, according to Maxpreps.com Redlands East Valley cruised to a 69-28 victory over Redlands last week in the annual Smudge Pot rivalry game. Isaac Vitela passed for 322 yards and five touchdowns and added 185 yards and two rushing TDs. Taamir Mack caught three touchdown passes, while Nathen Lopez scored twice on the ground for the Wildcats in his season debut. Linebacker Micah Ley leads the defense with 87 tackles.

HACIENDA LEAGUE
Chino (3-4, 2-0) at Los Altos (7-0, 2-0), 7 p.m.
IE Varsity info: The winner here is guaranteed to maintain at least a share of first place in the standings. Chino defeated Walnut 35-14 last week to extend its winning streak to three games. Nathan Bull led the Cowboys, rushing for 222 yards and three touchdowns, while Carson Hoover tossed a pair of touchdown passes. Markell Monroe has four TD receptions since the sit-out period ended (Sept. 29). Los Altos cruised to a 47-6 victory against Covina last week to remain unbeaten. Diego Castillo passed for 278 yard and three touchdowns. Gavin Flores and Josiah Cortez have combined to catch 48 passes for 907 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. Linebacker Noel Trejo-Zepeda leads the Conquerors on defense with 69 tackles.

IVY LEAGUE
Vista del Lago (5-2, 1-1) at Orange Vista (4-3, 2-0), 7:30 p.m.
IE Varsity info: Vista del Lago bounced back from its league-opening loss to Liberty with a solid 35-20 victory over Rancho Verde last week. Josiah Dupree-Boyd passed for 238 yards and three touchdowns and added 63 yards and a score on the ground for the Ravens. Jae’lynn Brown leads the receiving group with 45 receptions for 711 yards and six touchdowns. The defense has registered 29 sacks, including eight by linebacker Jiraya Holt. Defending champion Orange Vista overcame a slow start and escaped with a 22-21 win over Liberty last week to extend its winning streak to four games. Bobby Greer ran for 135 yards and two touchdowns, and Khalil Abdul-Aziz tossed his 16th touchdown of the season. Linebacker Frankie Gonzalez leads the Coyotes on defense with 64 tackles.
