The Halloween-themed event featured games, music, food, vendors and booths from agencies such as the San Bernardino County Bureau of Victims Services. Police interacted with guests, displayed patrol cars, ATVs and their SWAT trailer, where children used colorful toy pistols to shoot monsters.
Children also enjoyed a petting zoo with goats, chickens and other animals, and train rides around the parking lot.
“This is our way of giving back to the community,” Capt. Nelson Carrington said. “Just our way of saying thank you to the community for allowing us to serve them.”
