By MICHELLE CHAPMAN, Associated Press Business Writer Ford is recalling more than 694,000 Bronco Sport and Escape vehicles because the fuel injector may crack and leak, which may cause a fire. If fuel leaks inside the engine compartment and there’s a hot engine or exhaust components, it could increase the risk of a fire. The recall impacts certain 2021-2024 Bronco Sport and 2020-2022 Escape vehicles equipped with 1.5L engines. Ford has been looking into the fuel injector issue since 2022, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The company’s field review committee approved recalls in November 2022, March 2024…

It will take some time to get our overall operations back to normal,” the post said. The Federal Aviation…

LOS ANGELES – Nine years ago, Kyree Walker went viral. Thirteen million people have watched the video of him at the famed MSHTV Camp in 2016 — then the No. 1 freshman in the country — dueling fellow young internet hooper sensation Julian Newman in front of a packed gym of peers. Walker already looked grown for a 15-year-old: nearly 6-foot-6, 220 pounds, playing like a man among boys. And he knew it. He taunted defenders, played to the crowd, and barked at anyone who spoke. At one point, he brought the ball up the floor, beckoning his man to…

DEL MAR – Journalism is coming home. The winner of the Preakness and Saturday’s Haskell Stakes will fly west from Monmouth Park in Oceanport, N.J., on Tuesday and spend at least the next month at the seaside before a decision is made on the 3-year-old’s next race. And that race could be the $1 million Pacific Classic at Del Mar. Or the Travers at Saratoga. “We’re glad he is coming home,” Aron Wellman said Sunday afternoon. “He’ll rest and take it easy for the next week to 10 days before we start looking ahead. The horse will tell us what…

LOS ANGELES — Maybe the Milwaukee Brewers can take over the Lakers while they’re at it. By the looks of it, they already own the Dodgers. Then again, the Brewers aren’t the only ones who have prospered against the defending champs in the last 2½ weeks. Los Angeles has lost 10 of 12 surrounding the All-Star break, including a 6-5 Milwaukee victory Sunday that enabled the Brewers to sweep two three-game series with the Dodgers in a two-week span. This isn’t happenstance, either. Dave Roberts conceded Sunday afternoon that his club, now with a slim 3½-game division lead over San…

In filling out President Trump’s report card, it is important, first off, to say where it is that I am coming from, in terms of political economy and philosophy. If I were a Marxist like my high school buddy Bernie Sanders, I would award the Donald an F+. He must have done something right, don’t ask me what. As it happens, I am an anarcho-capitalist, the most famous adherents of this view are Javier Milei and Murray Rothbard. Here, that government is best which governs not at all. Or, to turn things around a bit, we should have some eight…
