LOS ANGELES –– As the Kings seek to shake old habits, they travel to face the NHL’s two newest franchises, the Utah Mammoth on Monday and the Seattle Kraken on Wednesday. They certainly hope to build on a 6-0 beatdown of the Chicago Blackhawks in which they dominated play for 40 minutes, accumulated a season-high in goals and brought their goal differential into positive territory for the first time in 2025-26 (+1). By BILL BARROW Donald Trump is angry that Rep. Henry Cuellar is running again as a Democrat rather than switch parties after the president pardoned the Texas congressman and his wife in a federal bribery and conspiracy case. Cuellar, in a television interview Sunday after Trump’s social media post, said he was a conservative Democrat willing to work with the administration “to see where we can find common ground.”…

Officially, he’s listed as questionable to play in the Chargers’ game Monday night against the Philadelphia Eagles at SoFi Stadium. Unofficially, no one truly believes he’ll sit out.…

The hand-wringers and pearl-clutchers are in full meltdown because on September 2nd, Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, ordered the United States Navy to attack an alleged drug smuggling boat off the coast of Venezuela. Two survivors clinging to the gunwales of their sinking skiff were blown to pieces by a second missile, despite Article 118 of the Unified Code of Military Justice specifically prohibiting “firing upon the shipwrecked,” likening it to “murder.” Oh, boo-hoo! Who has time for quaint niceties like the rule of law, due process, evidence, and trials? That might have been okay in America 1.0, but in…

Winning never gets old. But winning teams do. The Dodgers won their repeat championship with the oldest roster in MLB last season – an average age of 31.48. The measure requires voters to provide a government-issued ID for in-person voting and the last four digits of their Social Security Number for mail-in voting. It also requires election officials to verify a person’s citizenship. Currently, voters are required to provide identification upon registering, but not at the…
