IE VARSITY BOYS BASKETBALL RANKINGS
1. Centennial (10-1)
The Huskies knocked off Mater Dei to capture the crown at the San Juan Invitational.
2. Etiwanda (13-0)
The Eagles beat Heritage Christian to win the North Orange County Championships.
3. Damien (12-2)
The Spartans claimed the San Dimas Tournament championship earlier this month.
4. Roosevelt (5-3)
The Mustangs are among the area teams headed to the Tarkanian Classic in Vegas.
5. Rancho Christian (6-6)
The Eagles are hosting Rancho Verde in an Ivy League opener Wednesday evening.
6. Rancho Verde (8-3)
The Mustangs captured the title at the Beaumont Tip-Off Classic earlier this month.
7. Elsinore (13-0)
The Tigers host Temecula Valley in an intriguing nonleague showdown Friday night.
8. Temecula Valley (10-2)
The Golden Bears went 3-1 at the Inland Empire Classic showcase earlier this month.
9. Rancho Cucamonga (9-5)
The Cougars split their four games during last week’s St. John Bosco’s Winter Classic
10. Chino Hills (11-2)
The Huskies opened by winning Santa Ana High School’s Luis Macias Tournament.
