Across the Inland Empire, children from low-income households attend these preschool programs meant to give children a leg up in the classroom and in life.
On a recent day, kids at Arrowhead Grove Head Start in San Bernardino listened to stories, rode tricycles and took part in activities to strengthen their hand-eye coordination.
The Arrowhead Grove program is run by San Bernardino County.
