THURSDAY’S TOP GAMES
Rialto (4-0) at Banning (3-1), 7:30 p.m.
IE Varsity info: Rialto went 0-10 last season, but the Knights have made a turnaround under new coach Derwin Henderson and are 4-0 for the first time in program history. Rialto’s offense features a balanced ground attack with four players averaging more than 60 rushing yards per game. Isaiah Wilson and Noah Valdez lead the team with five touchdowns apiece. The Knights are led on defense by linebacker Alberto Tapia. Banning is coming off a 28-18 victory over Perris last week. Jacob Anzaldua has passed for 1,178 yards and 13 touchdowns, and Jmari Garlington has caught 24 passes for 427 yards and five touchdowns. Kamari Horseman has scored seven touchdowns (four rushing, three receiving). The Broncos are led on defense by linebackers Geovantae Johnson and Nathan Maness.

Citrus Valley (0-3) at Norco (4-0), 7:30 p.m.
IE Varsity info: Citrus Valley is trying to avoid a second straight 0-4 start to a season while also seeking to avenge last season’s 17-10 loss to Norco. Dominic Robles has passed for 702 yards and four touchdowns, while Jaymie Evans leads the Blackhawks with 19 catches for 281 yards and a touchdown. The defense is led by linebacker Ismael Gonzalez (43 tackles). Norco already has surpassed its win total from each of the previous two seasons and seeks the program’s first 5-0 start since the 2021 spring season. Julian Medina has thrown for 1,207 yards and 14 touchdowns, and Blake Wong has hauled in 35 passes for 616 yards and nine touchdowns. Lee White leads the ground attack with 332 yards and five touchdowns. Linebacker Tony Gonzales leads the Cougars’ defense with 20 tackles.

Colton (2-2) at Arlington (1-3), 7:30 p.m.
IE Varsity info: Colton looks to bounce back from last week’s 49-42 loss to Palm Springs. Koa Regalado has passed for 895 yards and 14 touchdowns, and Kalvin Leon has caught 19 passes for 382 yards and eight touchdowns. Isaiah Garcia leads the ground attack for the Yellowjackets with 247 yards and three touchdowns. Arlington is coming off a 33-7 loss last week against Segerstrom. Isaac Del Toro has rushed for 439 yards and four touchdowns and also leads the team with eight catches for 113 yards. The Lions are led on defense by linebacker Daniel Tovar.

Rim of the World (3-0) at Bloomington (2-2), 7:30 p.m.
IE Varsity info: Rim of the World is seeking the program’s first 4-0 start since the 2019 season. Tatum Ortiz has been the workhorse on offense for the Fighting Scots, rushing for 704 yards on 84 carries and scoring 11 touchdowns. Defensive end Cody Karn leads the defense with 23 tackles, while Sergio Victorio and Brady Watson each have recorded three sacks. Bloomington will be looking to extend its winning streak to three games. Derek Fraembs leads the Bruins with 471 yards and six touchdowns on the ground and also has caught four touchdown passes. Dylan Fraembs has added 411 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Cornerback Elijah Maldonado lead the defense with 27 tackles.
