Every weekday, Inland Empire public schools serve up meals for kids.
That includes summer.
With classes over for the school year, school districts are teaming up with cities and others to keep the breakfasts and lunches coming.

This site serves the free lunches from 11:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Breakfasts are offered between 7:50 a.m. and 8 a.m. They’re open to children 18 and under until the program ends July 25.
The model is repeated across Riverside and San Bernardino counties, as school districts ensure that those receiving free or discounted meals during the school year — or anyone else — can eat well in summer.

In Riverside, the SummerFeeds program will serve lunches made by the Riverside Unified School District until Aug. 1 at parks and libraries across the city. Information: 951-352-6740.
San Bernardino’s Summer Lunch Program will bring free lunches to four community centers until Aug. 1. The effort is a partnership with the San Bernardino City Unified School District. Information: 909-998-2750 or www.sanbernardino.gov/parks.
The Upland Public Library will host that city’s lunch program, which ends July 25. The meals are from the Upland Unified School District. Information: 1-866-3-HUNGRY or nutrition_services@upland.k12.ca.us.
In southwest Riverside County, the Menifee Union School District is providing free breakfasts and lunches through July 16 at schools and libraries across the city. Meals on campuses end June 26, but they will continue elsewhere. Information: 951-679-8355.
