A second man was arrested Wednesday, June 4, after the shooting death of a 19-year-old man in Yucaipa over the weekend.
Kyle Heller, 20, of Yucaipa, was the second person arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Kenneth Xiong of Fresno, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies found Xiong, who had been shot multiple times, around 6:40 a.m. on Saturday at the Oak Glen Wash near Avenue D. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another suspect, 21-year-old Dennis Wright, of Yucaipa, was arrested the next day on suspicion of murder.
Officials aren’t looking for any other outstanding suspects. Investigators have not specified a motive for the shooting.
